Worldview

What worldview do you hold?

A worldview is a type of belief system or ideology. It is a way of looking at and explaining life and the world. It serves as the lens through which the world is interpreted. As such, it is a set of beliefs that influences a person's perspective, values and actions. A person’s worldview can influence the way everything in the world is viewed, interpreted and explained.

 ❔ - Agnosticism
Agnosticism is a belief that knowledge of the existence or non-existence of God is impossible. If the question is "Does God exist?", "yes" would imply theism, "no" would imply atheism, and "I'm not sure" would imply agnosticism—that God possibly can or cannot exist. [1]

🚫 - Atheism
Atheism is the belief that there is no God, from the negative a + theism. Some who claim the mantle of atheist say they plainly "lack a belief" that God exists however, this is nothing more than intellectual slight of hand and an attempt to avoid the burden of proof. There are only three intellectually honest positions regarding the existence of God: "Yes" (theism), "No" (atheism) or "I don't know" (agnosticism). Here is a thorough article discussing the chaotic modern spectrum of Atheism. [1]

↖️ - Deism
Deism is the belief that God has created the universe but remains apart from it and permits his creation to administer itself through natural laws. Deism thus rejects the supernatural aspects of religion, such as belief in revelation in the Bible, and stresses the importance of ethical conduct. [1]

👥 - Dualism
Dualism is the idea that there are two eternal and equal powers—good and evil—in competition with one another. Neither can triumph. Some have adapted this idea into the concept of so-called Christian dualism, the idea that God and Satan (or evil) stand in conflict, with equal power in competing with one another. [1, 2

👤 - Monotheism
The term comes from the Greek monos "only", and theos "god". Monotheism is the belief that there is but one God, who providentially works within the world, while remaining distinct from it. [1]

💠 - Panentheism
Panentheism, literally "all-in-God-ism", "affirms that although God and the world are ontologically distinct [i.e., not the same] and God transcends the world, the world is 'in' God ontologically." [1]

🧬 - Pantheism
Pantheism comes from two Greek words, pan (all) and theism (God) meaning "all is God" or "God is all." It is the belief that all things contain divinity and that God is the sum of all things. Pantheism is the view that God is everything and everyone - and consequently that everyone and everything is God. [1]

♨️ - Polytheism
Polytheism is belief in, or worship of, multiple gods or divinities. The word comes from the Greek words poly+theoi, literally "many gods." [1]
